Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows movement; you may be layered for modesty. Stay well hydrated before and after the session. The treatment occurs at our office where we provide a relaxing, private therapy room and necessary supports.
You may feel sustained pressure, gentle stretching, and occasional sensations of release or mild discomfort as adhesions unwind. Sessions are therapeutic rather than painful—your therapist works within tolerance, adjusting pressure and technique to maintain safety and effectiveness throughout the ninety-minute session.
Clients with chronic tightness, decreased range of motion, postural issues, or unresolved pain may benefit. It's also appropriate for athletes needing recovery or clients seeking deeper connective tissue work. Contraindications include open wounds, active infection, or recent fractures—consult before booking.
The scheduled session is ninety minutes of focused fascial work. Please arrive five to ten minutes early for intake and to change if needed. Allow extra time after the session to hydrate and rest before resuming strenuous activities.
Some clients experience mild soreness, fatigue, or increased urination and emotional release in the following 24–48 hours. These responses are normal and short-lived. Drink plenty of water, rest, and apply gentle heat or ice as recommended if discomfort persists.
Yes. It complements modalities like massage, physical therapy, myofascial trigger point work, and corrective exercise.
